Most people still associate engineers who carry out Gas Work as being 'Corgi registered' but i would like to inform everyone that this is no longer true. Engineers who carry out Gas Work legally are now 'Gas Safe Registered' and if anyone should claim to be 'corgi ' registered then they probably arent legal for some reason or not transfered to the new scheme. The ' Gas Safe Register ' became compulsory for membership on the 1st April 2009.
